Data deletion

This page explains how to have the information Islam Traders holds about you deleted, including the information we receive when you sign in with Facebook.
What we receive from Facebook
When you sign in with Facebook, Facebook shares only your name and email address with us, and we use them to create your account. We never receive your Facebook password, and we never post to Facebook or message your Facebook friends on your behalf. For more detail, see our privacy page.
How to request deletion
We do not have a self-service delete button yet, so a request is made by contacting us:
- Call or message us using the phone number or WhatsApp link on the contact page.
- Tell us the email address or phone number on your Islam Traders account, so we can find the right record.
- If you signed in with Facebook, mention that, so we also remove the Facebook sign-in link.
We will reply to confirm we have received the request, and we will delete the data within 30 days.
What we delete, and what we keep
When you ask us to delete your account, we remove:
- Your name and email address, including the ones that came from Facebook.
- Your phone number, saved address and wishlist.
- Your sign-in records and the link between your account and Facebook.
We keep order records — the items, totals and delivery details of orders you have placed. These are the shop's business and tax records, and the law requires us to keep them. They are not linked to your Facebook account, and we remove anything we are not required to keep.
Removing our app from Facebook
You can also remove Islam Traders' access from your Facebook account at any time:
- Open Facebook and go to Settings & privacy → Settings.
- Open Apps and websites.
- Find Islam Traders and choose Remove.
This stops us from signing you in with Facebook again, but it does not delete the account you already created with us. To have that removed as well, contact us as described above.
